CEO of the North America Region, Volkswagen and
President and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.

Hinrich J. Woebcken is the CEO of the North American region for the Volkswagen brand, where he oversees all activities in the United States, Mexico and Canada. He is also President and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (VWGOA); the U.S. operations of a worldwide family brands including Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Volkswagen, as well as VW Credit, Inc. Woebcken assumed both positions in April 2016.

Prior to joining Volkswagen AG in January 2016, Woebcken worked for 30 years in the automotive industry for Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs. He spent more than 10 years with the BMW Group where he held senior leadership positions, including Senior Vice President, Driving Dynamics.  Additionally, Woebcken was a Member of the Executive Board and CEO Commercial Vehicle Systems Division at Knorr Bremse AG and has held various management positions with Krauss-Maffei AG and Dürr AG.

A native of Germany, Woebcken earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Applied Science, Rosenheim Germany, in 1985.



Senior Vice President, After Sales

David Durant is the Senior Vice President, After Sales for Volkswagen of America. In this position, Durant oversees all Volkswagen brand After Sales activities which include developing and implementing strategies for the part and accessory market as well as improve customer experience and service retention.

Durant has almost 30 years of retail and corporate After Sales and Sales experience. He joined Volkswagen of America in 2005. Most recently, Durant served as Vice President Technical Service and Quality.
A native of Michigan, Durant holds a degree in Automotive and Heavy Equipment Management from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan.



Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Volkswagen of America, Inc.

Derrick Hatami is the Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Volkswagen of America, Inc. He is responsible for establishing the strategy and leading the operations for the Volkswagen brand for the US market, including Sales, Marketing, Product Planning and Aftersales activities.

Hatami joined Volkswagen in 2017, and brings more than 17 years of automotive OEM and related experience, including leadership roles at Hyundai and Nissan. Earlier in his career, Hatami worked for JD Power & Associates and Accenture, serving as a strategy consultant to the automotive industry.

Hatami received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Finance from Hawaii Pacific University in 1995. He earned an MBA degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2000.



Senior Vice President, Product Marketing and Strategy

Dr. Hendrik Muth is Senior Vice President, Product Marketing and Strategy. In this position, Muth oversees all Product Marketing activities which include the current and future Volkswagen brand vehicle portfolio for the entire U.S.

Before joining Volkswagen of America in 2012, Muth lead the Sales & Marketing branch of Volkswagen Consulting, as well as the Product Marketing and Communications department of Volkswagen R GmbH / Volkswagen Zubehoer. Within Volkswagen of America, Muth successfully expanded the R and accessories activities. Since 2014 he was additionally responsible for portfolio and pricing for the Volkswagen brand.

A native from Germany but with US family ties, Muth graduated from Universitaet Karlsruhe and holds an MBA degree from Temple University, Philadelphia and a Doctorate from Universitaet Siegen, Germany.



Senior Vice President, Sales

Ronald Stach is the Senior Vice President, Sales for Volkswagen of America. In this role, Ron will have responsibility for U.S. sales regions, retail programs, and fleet and remarketing.

Stach most recently served as Director, South Central Region for Volkswagen of America, and brings over 25 years of experience in automotive sales, sales leadership, network development and aftersales.




Chief Communications Officer North American Region and
Executive Vice President, Communications, Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.

Pietro Zollino is the Chief Communications Officer North American Region and the Executive Vice President for Communications for Volkswagen Group of America. He is responsible for communications of the Volkswagen brand in the North American Region and for all aspects of communications for the Volkswagen Group and Volkswagen brand in the United States.

With over 15 years of experience in the communications area, Zollino has held various leadership positions within communications in the Volkswagen Group and other automotive brands, including Head of global Product Communication of the Volkswagen brand as well as Head of Communication for Innovation and Digitalization Volkswagen Group.
A native of Italy, Zollino holds a degree in Physics and a degree in Medical-Physics as well as an education in journalism. He worked as a journalist in the automotive business for more than 10 years.
