Volkswagen of America moves to quarterly U.S. sales reporting
Jan 30, 2020
Herndon, VA — Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA) today announced that it will begin reporting U.S. vehicle sales results quarterly, effective immediately. Volkswagen will release first quarter sales April 1.
“The U.S. auto industry has long seen itself in 30-day cycles, but it's hard to argue anymore that a monthly snapshot offers the most effective look at our business,” said Werner Eichhorn, chief sales and marketing officer, VW, North American Region. “We believe quarterly reporting will provide a clearer, more consistent picture of brand and market performance.”
