VOLKSWAGEN RETURNS FOR FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR AS THE AUTOMOTIVE SPONSOR OF FOOD NETWORK STAR

Tiguan Compact SUV serves the ten finalists in a variety of ways throughout the season

 

Herndon, VA (June 8, 2018)  — Volkswagen of America, Inc., announced today its return as the official automotive sponsor of the new season of Food Network Star, premiering Sunday, June 10th at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network. This season, all ten finalists will get to experience the Volkswagen Tiguan as they venture into a series of culinary battles for the ultimate title of Food Network Star.

The Volkswagen Tiguan will be featured throughout the competition, transporting the competitors and hauling ingredients for specific challenges. The vehicle will also make a prominent appearance on web series Star Salvation on FoodNetwork.com, where eliminated chefs compete to return to Food Network Star

With a starting MSRP of $24,595, the 2018 Tiguan is available with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, optional 4Motion® all-wheel drive, and has four trim levels available—S, SE, SEL, and SEL Premium. Every Tiguan features a six-year or 72,000-mile (whichever occurs first) New Vehicle Limited Warranty, the remainder of which can be transferred to subsequent vehicle owners, making it America’s Best bumper-to-bumper Limited Warranty.
